Web Design ~ Graphics

Web design and computer graphics design are two of my passions. I have also designed logos, advertising brochures, business cards and newspaper ads. My main focus is to create web sites that are fully accessible, that is, I try to stay away from Flash content and excessive multimedia stuff that doesn't translate well to oral readers. I like to work with creative types- artists, musicians, etc. -and can help with developing your full promo package. Prices are reasonable and negotiable. Also, speak to me about music videos if you're interested, I have a full crew on standby.

The animated ad to the left was designed for London Film and Television Liaison. I use both Photoshop and Coral Draw for my graphic work and Quark XPress for layout work. I also teach layout and design in MS Publisher for home use.

Breakout Improv Training The web site for my own Improve training program.
	Eaglewood Folk Festival This is the third web site I've designed for the Eaglewood Folk Festival. I am responsible for the entire look and feel of the site including all the graphics and the bulk of the copy. The Festival is held each August on the last weekend prior to Labour day in Pefferlaw, Ontario. The main design idea was to make the site visually impressive and totally accessible to the visually impaired.
Tears of a Thousand Years This web site was created as an adjunct to a series of concerts and the production of a CD for raising relief funds following the events of September 11, 2001. The site is no longer up although the original URL is still being used. The link here will take you to a cached replica of the site (minus all the song samples).
	paullangille.com Another music related site. This one is for London, Ontario based musician Paul Langille, a superb performer, and songwriter.
Storyville Bridge A Jazz Fusion group from London, Ontario. The idea here was to create a clean, open look that blended well the concepts of a transition from old to new.
	North London Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Clinic Serving the people of London, Middlesex County and surrounding areas for more than 10 years.
Airtight Music A canadian Folk Music web site that is no longer in existence. Too bad. This is just a screen shot.
	sueminns.com Site to promot public speaker and inspirational presenter Susan Minns. This is a minimalist, accessible site with the main emphasis on content rather than look. A clean, bright style to compliment Sue's personality.

Manipulated Image 1 An exercise in melding images with photoshop.
	Fanciful Creation This image was done to showcase the layering and blending effects available in photoshop
Manipulated Image 2 Effects were used to change a smiling face into a blank stare with embedded images in the eyes.
	Custom wallpaper 1 A custom image designed for fans to download from the Paul Langille web site. This room doesn't actually exist.
Custom Wallpaper 2 Created this custom image to suggest a transition between the past and the present.
	Promo Poster 1 One of several promotional posters done for musician Paul Langille. These were designed in Photoshop then made into PDF files for booking agents to download and print.

	Promo Poster 3 Designed to showcase the upcoming artists in a 2005 winter concert series.
