The Concert:

To put the crowning touch on this project, most of the musicians featured on the CD graciously gave their time to be present and perform at a CD Launch on Monday, November 19, 2001.

The city council in Oakville made it possible to have the event at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, located at 130 Navy St at Lakeshore Drive in downtown Oakville, Ontario and the entire event was a rousing success. What a time we had.

Keep returning to this page over the next few weeks for pictures and updates from the concert. Until then, a big Thank You to all those people who came out and supported the concert and the folks who worked so hard in the background to make it all possible.

What People Said:

...."Burning In The Streets" is one of the most moving bits of writing I have had the great pleasure to hear. It is simple and beautiful and worthy of high praise.

I sat in the audience, by coincidence, with two firefighters and their wives when Don (Bray) played this song and both burly men were in tears over the truth in Don's song.

If you haven't heard this song, it is worth the price of the whole CD! I hope the CD as well as the sales from this CD finds its way to the families of those New York Firemen. Congratulations to all for putting together music for a challenging time.

In these trying and fearful times, we need to hear the songs we heard last night - songs of strength, courage, love and hope. All the musicians gave us these songs with beautiful heartfelt passion - the music truly was moving and many people were moved to tears!

Absolutely loved the show last night. There was beauty and honesty in everything I heard. Congratulations. The CD is a gem.
